Special Book Preview

Knowing that you’re out there, receiving and reading this newsletter during the writing and preparations for my book, Rewire Your Brain for Love — you have all sustained me mightily! I’m hoping you’ll help me with its official launch this week.

(As my way of thanking you, I’m including a link with a preview of the book — for you, my newsletter subscribers only.)

If you feel inspired, there are a variety of ways for you to help — feel free to pick and choose from the handful below, or to simply send your good wishes my way.

Online and email: If you’d like, you can send a few words out on Facebook, or Twitter; in newsletters, or emails to friends, family, colleagues, neighborhood or professional listservs you’re a part of, or any other outlets where you think the book might be a good fit. As an example (feel free to edit!): “Good read! Dr. Marsha Lucas has a new book out today, about relationships, the brain, and mindfulness: http://amzn.to/wdIsm6″

Local bookstores: If you have a local bookstore (and I hope you do!), consider requesting that the bookstore stock the book if it’s not available. And if it is there in the bookstore, consider turning the cover face-out on the bookshelf so it’s easier to see. If there’s more than one copy, and you’re feeling particularly brazen, you could add one to the display at the end of the shelf, too.

On Amazon: At the end of each customer review, Amazon asks, “Was this review helpful to you?” If you’ve indeed found them helpful, clicking “yes” to the four- and five-star reviews will help the positive reviews stay at the top.

More on Amazon: While you’re on Amazon, you can “tag” the book with words that help other readers find it. Helpful tags might include meditation, neuroscience, love, relationship improvement, mindfulness, etc.

And of course, if you’ve read the book and care to write a review (anywhere at all, though they do seem to carry the most weight on Amazon), please do so and then let me know so I can thank you personally!

Just so you’re up to date, the book’s been receiving really wonderful advance reviews, including Tara Brach, Lou Cozolino, Elisha Goldstein, Rick Hanson, Sue Johnson, Jack Kornfield, Belleruth Naparstek, Christiane Northrup, Sharon Salzberg, Ron Siegel, and Priscilla Warner.

Many, many thanks!!
Marsha
